Our Animals Wishlist

Donations of these items are a wonderful way to help support the rescue.  There is always a need for these types of items, as each and every animal that comes in receives all necessary (and fun!) belongings to go with them to their foster homes.  Funds For Furry Friends runs purely on donations and we are grateful for each and every person who helps support us!
  • Dry and wet puppy food
  • Dry and wet dog food 
  • Dry and wet cat food (adult and kitten)
  • Blankets
  • Treats (dental, training, regular)
  • Dog harnesses (all sizes)
  • Dog toys (durable, chew toys, ropes)
  • Puppy pee pads (disposable or washable)
  • Dog Chews (bones, fillable or regular, antlers)
  • Dog leashes, and collars (all sizes)
  • Pet dishes (steel, slow feeder, automatic feeders)
  • Baby gates or barriers
  • Enrichment items (puzzle bowls, interactive feeders, snuffle mats, Kongs)
  • Kennels (all sizes, wire or plastic)
We graciously accept donations of new or used pet items and food.  We ask that all items are clean and in safe working condition before donating them.   Please feel free to email [email protected] if you have any items to donate. You may also drop off donated items to the Brandon Riverbank Discovery Centre at 545 Conservation Drive. Please email us if you are unsure whether it is an item we are able to use. Thank you!
Monetary Donations are also a great way to help the rescue.  These funds go towards purchasing quality items for our animals including food, bedding, medical care, and those fun things too like treats and toys! There are several ways to make a donation to Funds For Furry Friends below!

Donate Through CanadaHelps.org
​CanadaHelps.org is an orginazation that allows donors to give when they want, in the amount they want and in the manner that suits them best.  You can sign up for monthly donations, a one-time donation or purchase charitable gift cards for family and friends!  You can follow the link to their website, CanadaHelps.org and type "Funds for Furry Friends" in Find A Charity to donate.​

Donate a Car
​Donate a Car Canada accepts vehicle donations for Funds for Furry Friends.  The program provides free towing to many areas across Canada, offering a convenient and quick removal of a car, truck, boat, motorcyle or RV - or any other type of vehicle.  You can have the program pick up an older vehicle or drop it off and maximize your donation!  Your donated vehicles are recycled or sold at an auction.  A representative will contact you once you submit your vehicle as a donation through their website.  To donate a vehicle, click here!
Specified donations can also be made towards certain fees or costs.  If you would like to contribute to one of the specific types of needs below, please email us at [email protected] and let us know where you would like your donation to be directed!
​Medical Care
Donations can be used for routine or emergency medical care for our animals.  This includes things such as vaccinations, spay or neuter surgeries, medications, specialty food and more. All of our rescues get routine vet care as well as any emergency issues that may arise.
Training Fees
We offer any amount of support that is needed to our foster homes in order to set our adoptables up for success.  Some dogs need a little extra encouragement to learn new things or become comfortable in their new environment.  Whether they are new puppies or adults, these dogs will meet with one of our trainers to help them get the assistance they need.  This is to help our animals, as well as supporting our foster homes and adoptive families.
Boarding Costs
There are times when animals are needed to stay in a boarding kennel temporarily.  This can be due to a vacation, a dog awaiting a foster home, or an emergency case where we want to bring an animal in as soon as possible for their own safety.  We work along with local boarding facilities to ensure our dogs are in the best care while boarding.
