Speaking of the couch: I used to sleep on the floor at night, but once I discovered the magic of cushions and blankets, I crowned the couch as my official throne. They're my buddies but they need to be strong and bigger becausee I am learning not to jump up uninvited. I've got quite the chew toy collection and can't resist a romp in the snow or some squeaky toy playtime. 

Now, when it comes to my personality, I'm all about cuddles and spreading good vibes. You'll find me snuggled up, happy as can be. As for that kennel thing, I've got that figured out no too! Leash walking? That's coming along! But with some encouragement and guidance from my humans, I'm sure I'll ace that skill too!

I’m an independent kind of guy, which means I enjoy being close to my people without needing constant hands-on attention. When I want some love, I’ll nudge you or invite you to play, but I’m happiest when I have a little space to just relax. I’m well-mannered, housebroken, and I love my walks — I could happily stroll for hours, exploring the world by your side. Leashes are a must, though; when a rabbit zips by, my instincts kick in and I’m off like a shot, so hang on tight!

In fact  I would do best if you had a doggie friend for me to play with. While I’m not the most high-energy hound around, I do delight in leisurely walks and awe-inspiring adventures. Yet, when all is said and done, cuddling is my calling—I love to be cradled and coddled, and I'll lay like a baby in your arms as snug as a bug in a rug! I'm kennel trained,  It's a place where I feel safe and secure.  Due to a congenital neurological issue, I’m a little leaky from time to time and I will sometimes where a bellyband so that there is less cleanup. But all of my many great attributes far outweigh this little hiccup. So, if you’re looking for a loyal, loving lapdog with just a dash of adventurous spirit, look no further. Note - Arlo does have a neurological deficit that results in him dribbling sometimes (usually when he gets excited) and you may find a little nugget in his kennel in the morning.
