About our Personalities:
Abby and Scout are very bonded and will need a home together. They came into rescue with overgrown nails, bad teeth and carrying a little baggage. We got them all fixed up but they’re still a little cautious with new people and new situations. They have come so far in their foster home and they adore their foster parents but it did take a little time for them to trust again. They’re starting to share a little lap time with them every now but they’re not overly cuddly, except with each other! Scout is the most reserved between the two. He is quite content with a spot on the couch to snooze away the day. But he does really like to go for a run around the yard too! Maybe he likes the way the grass tickles his tummy! Abby is more accepting of pets and loves to give kisses. She is pretty tiny and needs stairs to get up to her spot on the couch beside Scout. Abby is more outgoing than Scout, and she is always the first to approach for greetings. Scout prefers to hang back, preferably on his favourite spot on the couch, where he's hoping he can watch visitors from afar. Scout can be protective of Abby and both of them have taken a bit of time to warm up to being picked up with both showing some reluctance. Both dogs enjoy going potty outside when the weather is nice but both are also pee pad trained when it’s cold or wet outside. Neither dog responds well to being leashed and are not trained at this time to go for a walk. We would love a home for the two of them where they can unpack their bags and settle in to a happily ever after with a cozy spot on the couch.
How’s our Health? We are healthy. We both had a lot of extractions during our dental and we don’t have a lot of teeth left. We had full physicals when we came into rescue.
