Velvet is new to rescue and is a happy young dog. She is a happy-go-lucky pup who is easy to get along with. She was rescued from an area pound when her time run out. Velvet has a sunny disposition and a very puppish personality. She is full of happy wiggles and loves to play. Velvet is a nice medium-sized dog, with a scruffy coat and a nice thick build. She loves to get cuddles and hugs from her people, and is quite an affectionate girl. Velvet is fostered in a home with younger children and she has been great with them. However, she will jump up when playing and does still do a little puppy playmouthing too. Velvet loves to play, and she is quite an agile girl. She is comfortable going right up onto the playground equipment and would probably have real potential as an agility dog because of her comfort level with these things. She also loves to play and enjoys the company of other dogs. Velvet makes friends with other dogs easily. She is currently fostered with two small dogs and has been very good with them. She has not been properly cat tested. Velvet is a young dog who does quite well in a crate - if she can see you, she will bark to come out. Velvet is fairly quiet but does give a bark in greeting when she meets new people. Velvet's housebreaking is coming along well, but she does still have occassional accidents. Velvet loves to play tag with the children in her foster home and is a very affectionate girl. She has a very sweet personality, and would be a wonderful family dog! (Indoor Home Only!)
