Sky is a very cute little girl who is still very new to rescue. She has recently had a litter of puppies and is still drying up from nursing her babes. Sky was picked up as a stray and her owners declined picking her up from the pound. She has now come into rescue. (She did not come in with any puppies!) Sky is a very friendly girl and she still acts very much like a puppy. She has two sides to her - one side is very spunky and athletic, and the other side is very snuggly and affectionate. Sky still exhibits many puppy behaviors and she a fun little girl. Sky gets very excited when she sees other dogs and she really wants to play with them. Sky does need a secure yard as she seems to be a bit of an escape artist. Despite her small size, Sku can easily jump a fence and would need a home with a fence at least 6' high to keep her in. This little lady is fine with older children, we have not tested her with young kids yet. Sky is a high energy dog that has the energy and endurance of a jack russell terrier - she does need room to run and someone prepared to keep up with her!
