Shatzie is a very cute little girl who was surrendered to the local city pound by her owners. Shatzie is a sweet little dog, who came in a very timid and shy girl. After only a short while, she has come completely out of her shell and is actually quite a social girl! Shatzie can be head-shy with men, but this seems to pass quickly when she realizes they are her friend. This young girl is completely housebroken, and is well mannered indoors. She loves to snuggle up and sleep in bed with her foster parents, and does well crated when they are not home. Shatzie is a friendly and loving girl, who bonds quickly and easily. Typical of her breed, Shatzie has a little extra bounce in her step and she can be an active girl when she is comfortable and settled. Shatzie will jump and pull on her leash when she is excited - or when she sees a cat. Shatzie is a little overly interested in cats and we would not recommend her for a home with cats. She is friendly with other dogs. Shatzie is in a foster home with young children - and while we were uncertain at first because of her initial timid behavior, she has shown she has patience with children and would be fine in a home with kids. Shatzie does know how to sit, but we haven't been able to test her training too far just yet. We have just gotten Shatzie into a foster home and we will update her description with more information very soon! (Indoor Home Only.)
