Sayuri just can't seem to get a break! This beautiful gal is back in rescue, and has been returned to rescue a few times. She is a very loving girl, who came into rescue after she was picked up running at large by animal control. She was named Sayuri, which is Japanese for "small lilly"and
this beautiful girl is quite the flower! Sayuri looks very much like a Shepherd, and
the only hint of Husky are her outstanding baby blues! Sayuri is a people dog and she LOVES everyone she meets. She is excellent with both adults and children - and wants nothing more than to just be with them. Sayuri is very affectionate, and she is just pleased as punch to hang out with her family. Sayuri does like to be queen, and while she is willing to make friends with other dogs, and as long as they are content with her being queen bee, all is well. Sayuri will ignore dogs that ignore her, and she will play - but does play quite rough. She would not be suitable to be placed with a dominant dog. Sayuri would make an excellent only dog, but she could go into a home with another dog. Sayuri can not go into a home with cats. Sayuri is incredible in the house - she is low key and easy to have around. She is completely housebroken and she is extremely well mannered in the house. Sayuri is a wonderful dog - she would make an excellent family pet. Sayuri was a slim, trim girl when she first arrived in rescue - she still needs to loose some weight and is about 10-15lbs overweight. With a little exercise, she should be back to her slim 55lb figure. Sayuri is a great gal who is looking for a forever family! (Indoor
Home Only!)
