 Rover arrived in rescue as a wee pup, left on the doorstep with ten brother and sisters back in December of 2008. Rover was one of the first to find a home, leaving the rescue at 9 weeks of age, and has come back into rescue when his owners welcome a new baby into their home. This young boy is very sweet, playful and affectionate too! Rover is excellent with other dogs and he loves to play. He is good with cats too! Rover is smart, friendly and very sweet. He is great with kids and has had a blast with the boys in his foster home - rolling around with them on the floor and being silly. Rover likes to play but he has a great off switch and settles nicely. He is completely housebroken, crate trained and has outstanding house manners - he stays off the furniture and is quite polite. Rover is gentle when taking treats and likes to lay at your feet and chew a bone. He loves walks and is quite an easy fellow to have on leash too! Rover is a great dog, with that true easy-going, happy-go-lucky Lab temperment. He is well trained and would be an easy fit into most households. Rover is sweet, loving and an all around wonderful dog. (Indoor Home Only!)
