Roo is a wondeful labrador retriever that has made his way into rescue after a short time at the pound. This big boy is SO MUCH cuter in person! Roo is a real reflection of his breed - he's a happy-go-lucky, carefree fella - full of smiles! Roo is a very nice tempered boy that is playful but not hyper. He is personable, and he seems to like everyone he meets. While Roo seems to have little in the way of formal training, he walks very well on leash. He also understands "go get your ball" and will retrieve and fetch over and over and over. Roo is a great dog to play with. He is a little clumsy, colliding with your legs sometimes when he rips back across the yard with his ball. Roo is still a little puppish with some of his behaviors. He is smart and eager to please. This fellow is quite a nice natured fellow, and he is a fairly easy dog to handle. He would do well with children, as long as they were comfortable with his size. Roo is extremely friendly with other dogs, and he wants to make friends with every canine he meets. Cats to catch his eye, especially when they run - but when confronted with a cat, Roo looses all interest in the game. Roo is a very well balanced dog that would be an easy addition to any home. He was owner surrendered to our local pound, and we really aren't sure why. He is an all-around happy and friendly young guy who would make a great addition to any family. (Indoor
