Ripper (Border Collie)
Description Last Updated: August 4th, 2010
Those who ask what difference does it make saving just one have not witnessed the joy of the one who is saved!

Border Collie - Neutered Male - 6 years old (Born in 2004)
Height: 17-18" | Weight: 60lbs

Ripper has returned to rescue from a situation where he was very loved. He was forced to find a new home when his owner passed away. This mature boy is a very well mannered dog - who is extremely laid back, despite his breed. Ripper is a pretty easy fellow to have around. He is completely housebroken and well mannered indoors. He is calm and easy going most of the time, and really enjoys the simple companionship of his people. Ripper is a little overweight, but it should be a fairly easy situation to remedy. He loves to walk - and does tend to pull a little on leash. Ripper does get excited about walks and tends to bound through the door when it opens. This is the only area where he needs a little work. Otherwise, Ripper is very well behaved. He knows how to sit and is content to chill out and watch TV with his people. Ripper is great with other dogs and does not bother with cats at all. He is good with kids, but would probably not be thrilled with a ton of commotion. Ripper is a very sweet boy who will make a wonderful and loving companion. (Indoor Home Only!)
