Ringo is one super fun guy! He is a very friendly fellow who would be an excellent choice for someone seeking a dog for agility, flyball or another dog sport. He loves to run alongside his foster mom's bike! He adores people of all ages and is fantastic with other dogs. He loves to play and will play fetch and run around with his toys for hours! Ringo really bonds with people and is a very affectionate little dog. He is happy to be picked up and carried - but is also content to chew a toy by your feet. If he gets bored, he is quick to go to the toy bin and find himself something else to play with. Ringo is completely housebroken and asks to go outside when he wants out. He is excellent in a crate. Ringo adores children, especially ones that want to play with him! He enjoys playing "you can't catch me" with toys in the yard, and loves running with the kids. Ringo has also been out biking with his foster mom, and he is really getting the hang of it. Ringo loves all other dogs but is especially fond of bigger dogs. He seems to read other dogs well, and while can can wrestle all day with a high energy jack and is excellent with the older dog in his current foster home, never pushing her limits to He would be best in a cat-free home. Ringo has been around livestock and he is good with cattle, but he is not good with chickens. Ringo is excellent on leash but he will run if he gets loose. In his current foster home, Ringo did walk out of the yard one night when the gate was left open and returned quickly when called with a shake of the treat bag! He is good about sticking around when his people are near by, but he gets bored if left alone. He can jump a low fence but has done well in his foster home with a 6' high fence. Ringo is a solid built little dog and he is very athletic and active. He has a wonderful temperment where other dogs are concerned, and is pretty easy-going and is quick to shrug things off and get back to playing. Ringo does really love to play and he enjoys time playing with both kids and other dogs. He does have downtime and is a great cuddler at nap time! He really has some outstanding potential if someone wanted a dog to do dog sports with - he is very smart and athletic. Ringo is a great dog that will make an equally great pet. (Indoor Home Only!)
