Rekko is another dog that has come to us because his owner has to move. Rekko is a nice natured young boy with a very friendly disposition. He is a laid back and easy going fellow, who is quite the velcro dog. Rekko just wants to be with his people and is happy to be included in things. Whether it's a game of fetch or just hanging out - Rekko is just happy to be there. This young boy is a real people dog. He is great with kids and adults alike. Rekko does have some training and an understanding of basic commands. He is very eager to please and food serves as a great motiviational tool for this fella! Rekko is crate trained and does need to be crated when he is home alone. Rekko has excellent manners and is completely housebroken. He will sometimes mark when he is visiting a new place for the first time, but he never marks at home. Rekko loves to go for walks and is strong on leash. Walks are one of the highlights of his day! This fellow also has a magic touch with other dogs, and seems to have a charm that most other dogs are drawn to. Rekko is very social and he has surprised us with his outstanding ability to get along with some other dogs that are very picky about their companions! Rekko is a little pushy with cats and he would be too much most cats to handle. He will chase a cat if it runs. Rekko is an athletic dog but he is not a hyper or overly active fellow. He likes to play, but listens well and is quite content in most situations. Rekko is a dog that adapts easily and would make a great family pet! (Indoor
