Meet Rebel - a real, true survivor! Rebel was abandoned by his former owners when they moved, and was left to wander. He made friends with a local couple and began to hang around their business when they started feeing him. He made quick friends and he has some wonderful qualities they felt would make him a great companion. Try as they might, they were unable to find a home for Rebel. Rebel enjoys hanging out near the business, greeting the visitors to the visitors to the store. He became very good about keeping an eye on things after hours as well - and all in all, this fellow really became a loyal companion. He appears to have had his nose frost bitten and is scheduled to see a veterinarian to get neutered and health checked... He has lived his life as an outside dog, but of course - we need a place for him with proper shelter from the elements! Rebel is not a very big dog and he could stand to put on a few pounds yet - although his rescuers have done a great job getting him healthy! Rebel is good with other dogs and likes people. He has little leash experience and is really not sure about walking on leash - he is used to roaming loose on the farm! Rebel is new to rescue, so we do not have a ton of information to give yet - but we will udpate his description soon! (Outdoor Home Only!)
