Rave is new to rescue and has come into our care after an extended stay at the local city pound. This young boy is quite energetic and athletic. Rave has a social and free-spirited nature. He is friendly with people, but is also easily distracted by the sights and smells around him. Rave is an adventurous dog who is quite curious about the world around him. Rave is pretty good on leash but does tend to pull. We would not recommend having him off leash - Rave will run if he gets the chance. Rave seems to have a bit of training under his belt, and he sits instantly when asked and seems quite responsive to commands. Rave is a smart fellow and when he is focused, he listens well. He is friendly with other dogs, and has a wonderfully social disposition with his fellow canines. Rave is happy to go-with-the-flow and makes quick friends with most dogs. While he is quite social with humans and fellow canines - Rave is not good with cats and he needs a cat-free home. Rave spent a short time in a foster home and we have learned he is wonderful with children and he would make a great family dog. He has a fantastic personality and is easy to get along with. He is housebroken, crate trained and has excellent manners indoors. We hope to find another foster home that is cat-free for Rave and will update his description soon with more information about his personality!
