Ox is new to rescue, and already he has captured a few hearts! This young fellow is full of pep and he loves to play! Oxford is a friendly and sociable guy, who seems to adore people and other dogs. This fellow is a striking mahogany red coloring, and he has a very unique look. While Oxford likes to play, he is not bouncing off the walls and does seem to have an off switch. Oxford is a friendly guy who seems to like everyone he meets. He adores kids and would make a great family dog! Oxford is quite well behaved, and while he does need some training - he does know the basics, like sit. He is easy to walk and does not pull on leash. Ox also has great respect for boundaries - although he could clear a babygate, he will respect where it is placed. Oxford is a gentle soul, who has a very gentle and confident nature. This young fellow would not be ideal for a home with cats. He is extremely interested in them - and while he will not harm them, he does get excited when they run. Oxford loves other dogs and seems to get along with all shapes and sizes. He does get very protective of his food dish and will squabble with another dog that tries to take his food - so he does best fed separately from other dogs.
