Nudge (American Pitbull Terrier Blend)
Description Last Updated: January 4th, 2010
Those who ask what difference does it make saving just one have not witnessed the joy of the one who is saved!

American Pitbull Terrier Blend - Spayed Female - 1 year old (Born in May 2009)
Height: 14-15" | Weight: 30-35lbs (approx.)

Nudge is a very happy and playful young girl who came into rescue after she was turned into the local pound. Someone has shown this sweet girl some cruelty in her past. Someone, likely as a prank or maybe in an attempt to self-crop, has taken a pair of scissors to her ears. Nudge still has about 30% of her ears remaining, but this does make her look at little different. Despite whatever mistreatment she has received, her personality was not spoiled one bit! Nudge loves everyone! She was a soft little marshmellow when she first arrived in rescue, but Nudge has come right out of her shell and is quite an outgoing social butterfly. She adores people and is great with both cats and dogs. She is a little to joyful and excited for some other dogs and younger kids. Nudge is both housebroken and crate trained. She sits politely for her food bowl and understands sit. She is fantastic in the car and loves baths. While it only takes one person to bath Nudge, it can take two to take her for a walk. This young lady is a bit of a bulldozer and can be difficult to walk. While she is all heart, she is a strong girl and does need someone comfortable handling a strong and silly young girl. Nudge would do best in an active home and would love another rowdy dog that likes "rough and tumble" play. Her foster mom says she is so full of love and happiness, it's just bursting out of her! LOL! Nudge is a great dog and she has a lovely temperment - she just needs a loving forever home where she can get lots of exercise and playtime! (Indoor Home Only!)
