Toys Needed for Rescue Dogs...
Last Updated: January 10th, 2010
Those who ask what difference does it make saving just one have not witnessed the joy of the one who is saved!

Funds for Furry Friends have had a number of young dogs come into rescue over the holiday season. A surprising number of young dogs make their way into rescue over the winter months. With several little ones in our care, our small supply of toys and treats rapidly reduces. It's not only the young dogs that like play with toys - we have many adult dogs that love toys too! Toys are something the rescue has an on-going need for. Some items on our wish list are:

  • - Plush toys made for dogs, tug toys and squeaky toys
    - Kongs, teething toys and nylon bones
  • - Balls of all kinds - tennis balls, rubber balls, etc.
    - Any type of rope or braided toys

    - Bones and chews (ie. busy bones, dentabones, etc.)

The rescue is in need of more dog toys for our many rescues who love to play. Some dogs are harder on toys than others and the small supply we have is hard to keep! If you are interested in helping with any of these much needed items, please drop the items by Pet Value in the Corral Centre - Suite 10-825 18th Street North. (Map) or contact us at 204-573-8333.
