Supplies Needed for Puppies in Rescue
Last Updated:

Those who ask what difference
does it make saving just one have not witnessed the joy of
the one who is saved!
They say spring is the season for puppies, but it seems that the little bundles of joy have come early this year!
Funds for Furry Friends has a number of young pups in rescue and with spring right around the corner, we expect those numbers to increase really soon.
With so many young dogs in rescue, our supplies for puppies have depleated and we are in need of perishable items, such as food, chews, toys and biscuits. We are extremely low on our puppy supplies and we are completely out of puppy food!
We also have a few puppies that are eating gastro formula, which is a more expensive food purchased at the vet clinic. Gastro food is something the rescue often has to purchase for animals with sensitive stomachs. For these puppies, the dry kibble gastro food is preferred - but canned gastro food works too!
In addition to puppy supplies, good quality wide leashes are needed for our large breed dogs. We have gone through a lot of thinner leashes lately with some of the bigger (80lb+) dogs, who tend to snap and break weaker leashes. Donations of strong, thick leashes would be gratefully appreciated.
