Mackenzie Murray - A Friend to Our Furry Friends

Those who ask what difference does it make saving just one have not witnessed the joy of the one who is saved!

This is Mackenzie Murray.  During the summer of 2009, she operated a lemonade stand to raise money for Funds for Furry Friends.  She then approached friends and family to “match” what she had raised selling lemonade.  And then finally, she approached all of her contacts on Facebook and raised even more matching dollars. 

In addition to money raised, Mackenzie also donated food and personal items that belonged to her very own cat that passed away during 2009 in order to help those who need a home.
