For his 8th birthday, Lars Bodnar asked his friends to make donations to Funds For Furry Friends to help the many cats and dogs in need.

Last year, the Bodnar family found a place in their homes and their hearts to a beautiful malamute, Dakota - and it's a perfect fit! Lars and Dakota are the best of friends!

We'd like to extend a great big thank you to Lars and his friends for their generosity. The funds they have raised will be used to help other dogs, like Dakota, find happy endings!
