Intakes on the Rise - Foster Homes Desperately Needed!
Last Updated:

Those who ask what difference
does it make saving just one have not witnessed the joy of
the one who is saved!
Mary is just one of Funds for Furry Friends dogs that is currently in overflow, boarding while awaiting space in a foster home. There are always a few dogs waiting for foster homes to open up, but this month the number of dogs coming into rescue is excessive. We hate to turn any animals away, but when we are paying to board our extra dogs - our resources disappear rather quickly.
The dogs that are waiting for foster homes are all posted on the virtual fostering page. Normally we only have 4-5 dogs waiting for foster homes at any given time - but this January, the need is simply much higher.
If you are interested in signing on as a foster family, please take a few minutes to read more about our foster program. Fostering is a lot like pet-sitting - it provides a comfortable place for a pet to stay while awaiting permanent placement, and it is a way the rescue provide adopters with very accurate information about the dogs and their personalities.
If you can't foster, please consider virtual fostering - with all of the extra dogs in rescue, we really need the extra help!
