Dog Food Shortage
Last Updated: June 17th, 2009
Those who ask what difference does it make saving just one have not witnessed the joy of the one who is saved!

The recent overflow of dogs has increased the number of mouths we have to feed. Dog food and treats are a commodity that rescues are always in need of - but recently our need has risen to an all-time high. With a sudden rush of intakes, the rescue has really run into a jam.

Aside from a need for regular dog food, the rescue currently has a few dogs on special diets. We have five dogs that are in need of a bland dog food, one that is eating a special urinary formula and another dog who needs a special canned food for weight gain sold at the vet clinic called A/D formula.

Donations of regular dog food, dog biscuits or any of the special foods needed for the dogs with specialized dietary needs will be gratefully accepted. Food donations can be dropped off at the Pet Valu in the Corral Center.

Funds for Furry Friends continues to grow and constantly strives to find new permanent homes for more and more animals. We would like to extend a great big thank-you to everyone who has helped us in our efforts.
