Danni Emond & Patti Kingdon celebrate Canada Day for our Critters

Those who ask what difference does it make saving just one have not witnessed the joy of the one who is saved!

Every year, Danni Emond and Patti Kingdon celebrate Canada Day by inviting friends over to a pool party at their home in Brandon?s west-end. In 2010, they wanted to do something a little different. This year, to celebrate Canada Day, they asked their friends to come dressed in ?an 80?s theme? and to bring something to donate to Funds for Furry Friends. Helping animals is a cause that is close to their hearts.

Instead of having their traditional potluck dinner, people brought food for the dogs (and cats). They also brought blankets, leashes, collars, and kitty litter. Some also brought money.

Danni and Patti are very impressed with how many donations they received on behalf of Funds for Furry Friends and are grateful for all of the assistance they received from their friends in helping out such a worthy cause.
