Murray came into rescue when he became too much for the children in his owner's home. This little guy is absolutely adorable, and he has a very loving personality. Murray meets and greets everyone with a happy hello and he is quite sociable. While Murray seems to enjoy visitors, he is not a dog that wants to share his people for an extended period of time. Murray seems to bond extremely well with his human - but he is very much a one person dog. Murry is very affectionate and loving with his person - he listens well, is well mannered and loves to get attention. Murray likes to play with toys and tends to be rather hard on them. He is very fond of removing the stuffing from his teddies and socks are his most favorite play things! He is quite friendly with other animals in his home, both canine and feline varieties. Murray is not good with young children, but beyond this, he really isn't a family dog. Murray tends to pick a favorite in the family to show all his love, affection and obedience to - and everyone else in the family is not a part of this world, Murray can get tempermental about sharing his people. He was previously fostered in home with a single person, and he was absolutely amazing for his foster mom. Placing Murray in a family environment we have learned he shows a lack of respect to anyone outside of the individual he has bonded with. He is friendly and social with strangers - happy to say hello and to meet new people. He is not suited to a family situation as a living environment. Murray would be ideal for a single person. He's an outstanding little guy with excellent house manners - he just isn't a family kinda guy. (Indoor Home Only!)
