Memphis may not look much like his breeding - which was precisely why he was turned over to the rescue. His parents were used for breeding, and Memphis ended up being an "elephant." He's just all wrong for what he is supposed to be! He may not look much like a Chihuahua or a Pomeranian - as a matter of fact, he looks a little more like an Italian Greyhound mix - but he sure is cute! Memphis is a very loving and affectionate little fellow. He gives lots of kisses and is always happy to have a little snuggle on the couch! Memphis is very sociable. He gets along well with the cats in his foster home and loves to cuddle up with them! He also gets along well with others dogs. He was a little overwhelmed with the bigger dogs in his foster home at first, but he warmed up to them quickly and now they are great pals! Memphis love to walk, but he does ask to be picked up when he gets tired of walking! He is working on his housebreaking, and is a very well behaved boy in the house otherwise. Memphis is not much of a barker, but he does alert bark when someone arrives. He is also working on his crate training, and he does some initial whining when he first goes in. Memphis is good in the crate when he is left alone, but he will fuss if he can hear someone walking around in the house! We are seeking a home without children under six years of age for Memphis. This little guy is gorgeous and he's quite the charmer - how can you resist??? Memphis is ready to move along to his forever home. (Indoor Home Only!)
