Those who ask what difference does it make saving just one have not witnessed the joy of the one who is saved!

Australian Cattle Dog X Border Collie - Spayed Female - 4 years old (Born in 2005)
Height: 15-16" | Weight: 35lbs (a little overweight)

Memory is an adorable medium-sized girl who is all about her people. She is a very bright girl, who is extremely attentitive and eager to learn. Memory already has a few things under her belt - she can sit, down and shake-a-paw. Memory loves her leash and she gets extremely excited as soon as she sees it. She loves to go for walks and is happy about any opportunity to go somewhere with her people! Memory likes other dogs and she really doesn't seem overly concerned with cats. This young girl adores children, and is excellent with people of all ages. Memory would have real potential at a sport like agility or even flyball. She is incredibly focused and true to her breed, her attention is always on her handler. Memory can jump quite high, but she has very little interest in running off. She just wants to work with and be with her humans. Unfortunately, there is one little quirk Memory has, and this is her reason for coming into rescue. She was surrendered to the pound when her owners moved to the country, as she was chasing cars. She has lived most of her life in the city and living in a fenced yard and walking on leash, she was not a problem - but loose on the farm, she was a little too interested in the passing cars - and this was too much of a safety risk. Memory needs an enclosed yard so she does not have the opportunity to chase... She does jump up a little when excited, but all in all is a gentle, loving and active girl - she would make a wonderful addition to any family. (Indoor Home Only.)
