Maggie May came into rescue in search of a bit quieter home. She is very friendly girl who enjoys the company of people, but she finds the little people a bit overwhelming. This gentle girl is looking for a home without children, as she simply does not have much tolerance for them. We do not recommend Maggie is around children under 12 years of age. She is a great girl in every other way - Maggie May is very social and friendly with other animals, and she has been good with both cats and dogs. She is a pretty low key girl, but she does like going for walks and car rides too! She is quite affectionate and enjoys a good scratch behind the ears too! She is housebroken and is used to being left loose in the house. Maggie May has great manners, and she is well behaved in the house. She is a very typical Basset, and does have a stubborn side - but all in all, she is a pretty easy girl to have around. Maggie will be settling into her foster home at the end of the week, and we will update her description with more information once she settled in. All in all, Maggie May is a nice girl who is looking for a home without the hustle and bustle of children. (Indoor Home Only!)
