This young girl is one well mannered dog! Lyric was adopted from the rescue at four months old, and has been recently returned. Lyric has really grown up, and she really has an amazing personality. Lyric is quite calm and easy-going. She has a friendly and social disposition, and she approaches new people with respect and a wagging tail. This young lady knows how to sit and shake-a-paw, and she has excellent recall. Lyric is amazing off leash, and she is happy to stay close by her people. She has actually spent more time walking off leash than on, and while Lyric is quite good on leash but she does bulldoze forward when she is interested in seeing something. Lyric is social and friendly with other dogs. She has lived with cats, and while she shows some initial interest when meeting new cats - she gets bored of them quite quickly. Lyric likes children and is excellent with strangers too! She is quite the social butterfly and has excellent manners. Lyric is completely housebroken and is well behaved in the house. Lyric's former owner did not kennel train her, and she is used to being loose in the house. This lead to her return to rescue, as Lyric does get bored when left alone and will chew. In her former home she seemed to always seek out electrical equipment - and this was becoming both a problem and danger to her. Lyric was kennel trained as a puppy and this would be a solution to her chewing when she is left alone. Lyric is a really wonderful young dog, and she has a very sweet nature. Anyone who has heard the bad rap that the pitbulls get should take a few minutes to meet Lyric - she will change your mind! Lyric is a wonderful dog and she will be an amazing addition to any family! Better pictures coming soon! (Indoor
