Lua is a sweet girl with a fairly easy-going attitude. She has just come into rescue but has been waiting for quite a long time for home to find her. Lua was abandoned by her owner back in March and was left boarding for months. Despite extended efforts over the last ten months, her owner did not come for her - and Lua is now in rescue looking for a new home. She is a lovely dog who is very easy to get along with. She was raised with both cats and dogs, and likes children too! She has recently gone into a foster home with kids whom she has made very quick friends with. She loves to snuggle with them, and enjoys playing ball with them in the yard too. She loves to play fetch and will toss the ball back to you for you to catch! Lua loves to go for walks and while she does tend to walk ahead, she never pulls. Lua will bounce with excitement when she meets and greets new people, and she wiggles, dances and smiles with a friendly hello. She shows her true happy nature right out there on her sleeves! (Her foster mom said one lady passing them by on a walk even exclaimed "what a happy dog!") Lua is a wonderful girl, who is quite an easy gal to have around. She has a nice energy level and she does like to get out and play with her people and the other dog in her foster home - but she also knows how to cuddle up on the couch with her owners and have a good snuggle too! Lua is a beautiful girl who has excellent manners - she is housebroken and crate trained. She has been boarding for some time, and she is just so happy to be with a family - her foster mom says you can see her thank-you in that big grin of her. We would love a family home for Lua, and she would be a wonderful companion for anyone. She adjusts easily and is an all-around wonderful dog! (Indoor Home Only!)
