Duck Tolling Retriever - Spayed Female - 8 years old (Born in 2002)
Height: 16-17" | Weight: 40lbs
Kiki is a a mature female duck tolling retriever x yellow lab. She is only about 40lbs and she is slightly overweight. Kiki is 8 years old and she is extremely sweet natured. Kiki is a real snuggler and loves to cuddle on the bed and the couch. She love car rides and has excellent off leash recall. Kiki is completely housebroken and has excellent manners indoors. She enjoys swimming and loves to go for walks. Kiki bonds quickly and closely - and she can be very protective of her people. Kiki's foster mom had her out with her younger sister, who fell and scraped her knee - and when some near by people came over to see if her sister was okay... Kiki was not letting them touch her injured little friend. This is a dog that will take care of her family, and Kiki is truly a family dog. She is not a big fan of very small children, and she would be best with kids over the age of 12 years. Kiki was fostered in a home with cats, and she learns her limits pretty quickly. Kiki was respectful of her foster mom's cats and quickly learned to leave them. Kiki has been good with other dogs - she really has not bothered with them and would prefer they didn't bother he. She has done well at the off leash park, but Kiki prefers the other dogs as company, not playmates. This gal is a real nanny, and she keeps a watchful eye out when strangers come into the home. Kiki is an incredibly loving and affectionate dog - but she bonds quickly and closely with her family. She has shown she can be very protective of her people, but she does respect her handler and she will leave it when she is told. Kiki would be great for a person living alone that wanted a little home security! Kiki would probably LOVE a home where she was the one and only, but she would also do well in a home with just cats and not canines to contend with. If she is in a home with another dog, Kiki prefers to keep company that is laid back, easy-going personality. (Indoor Home Only!)
