Those who ask what difference does it make saving just one have not witnessed the joy of the one who is saved!

Husky X Shepherd - Neutered Male - 2 year old (Born in 2006)
Height: 24-25" | Weight: 65lbs (approx.)

Kato is one super fun fellow! This young boy just arrived in rescue after an extended stay at the pound. It's hard to believe no one picked him up - he is just an outstanding dog! Kato is a complete and total clown, who is just a blast to have around. He is a busy fellow who is always in motion - checking out the world around him and getting completely caught up in it! Kato is easily distracted but he is a very well mannered fellow. His foster mom has found him quite easy to have around. Kato is not terribly fond of his crate, but he has been great left loose. This fella is completely housebroken and seems to know what is expected of him. As for formal obedience - Kato does not know how to sit or perform any tricks. He is not food motivated, but he quite loves people and should catch on to new things quickly. He is great with people big and small, and would make an excellent family dog! Kato completely ignores cats, and he is excellent with the other dogs in his foster home. Kato enjoys playing and to ensure no one is left out, he tries to play with both of the foster dogs in his foster home - at the same time! Kato is just an amazing boy and he seems to steal everyone's heart in an instant. Just look at that smile! Kato is a goof, who is quite the character with legs that seem too long for his body - and he can run like the wind! Kato is a wonderfully happy fellow. He is also quite talkative - and we do mean that he is a talker, not a barker. Kato will arou-rou-rou back in response when he is talked to and can be quite conversational! He will alert bark when people come in, but he is not a senseless barker. Kato is an all around outstanding boy who really deserves a family of his own. Kato is not suitable for a place without a large fenced yard. Kato is so carefree he will run if he was allowed loose. His recall is excellent with people around, but he would not be trustworthy left loose alone. (Indoor Home Only.)
