Joey (Black DSH)

Those who ask what difference does it make saving just one have not witnessed the joy of the one who is saved!

Black DSH - Neutered Male - Born August '07

Joey is a very handsome fellow who was returned to rescue after being adopted as a kitten in October 2007. He was returned when his family had a new baby and the infant developed allergies to the cat. Joey is unique in that he is solid black from head to toe. Black cats usually have some hint of another color in their coats, but this fellow is a rich black from head to toe. While his eyes appear yellow in the photos, they are actually a stunning shade of green which the camera doesn't seem to want to pick up. When Joey came back to rescue, he went down to Pet Valu. He took some time to settle in but after he settled in - this beautiful boy has really let his hair down! He is a little uncertain about dogs coming into the store - and will hide from them (despite growing up in a household with two dogs.) Joey was also excellent with the infant in his home, and seems to be quite tolerant with children. If you'd like to meet his handsome kitty, he is hanging out at Pet Valu in the Corral Centre these days and he loves visitors! (Indoor Home Only!)
