Hope (Help Older Pets Endure) is exactly what it stands for ? a way to help older pets endure a great retirement life in a forever home.  We have had great success in our adoption of adult dogs, but the dogs and cats over the age of eight are always a little harder to find homes for.  The HOPE program allows Funds for Furry Friends to adopt older dogs and cats for a lowered adoption fee, and still provide the much needed vet work for these dogs, which often exceeds alteration and vaccinations.  Many of our older dogs need dental work and some have other special needs that come with age.  Donations to the HOPE fund really do help older pets endure and thrive in new homes.
