Girl Friday is one fun little lady. She is a shepherd mix is a medium-sized dog at 45lbs, and she is one social, outgoing gal! Girl Friday adores humans - they are her favorite beings - next to her own kind of course! Girl Friday adores other dogs and she expects they are going to want to be her friends! We feel she would be best suited to a home with another dog that likes to play and wrestle. Girl Friday is a confident girl, who is not afraid of anything. She is a smart cookie too - she seems to have a good understanding of basic commands, and she can sit, down and shake-a-paw too! Girl Friday knows what "outside" means and she is completely housebroken. Girl Friday is crate trained too and has not fussed at all when crated. She does pull a little bit on the leash and she does need a little leash work. Girl Friday is very well mannered indoors and has her housemanners in check. This young lady adapts easily to new situations and seems to handle change well. Girl Friday is attentive and listens - but she does have those expectations of her humans too, and she likes to be the center of attention. She is not pushy and seems to accept sharing attention with the other dogs in her foster home. While she has shown some interest in cats, she has not bothered with the rabbits in her foster home. She does seem to get excited around felines and we are not sure she would be ideal for a home with cats. Girl Friday has a very loving side, and she is a total cuddler! She enjoys attention and will curl right up in your lap and enjoy her snuggle time. Her nose seems to act as a sort of play button - and a little beep on the end is interpreted as an invitation to play! This young girl is still quite puppish, and she does still play with her mouth and she does jump up a little bit. These behaviors should be easily corrected, and Girl Friday seems to catch on to new ideas quite quickly. She is settled into her foster home and is ready to find her new forever family. (Indoor
Home Only!)
