Meet Your Match!

MAYBE THIS YEAR YOU WILL MEET YOUR MATCH!
Last year Funds for Furry Friends decided to try something a little different...
We put 35 of our adoptable canines on the catwalk, and introduced them to the world! After each of the dogs made an appearance on stage the audience was invited to meet and greet the dogs. Adoptions following this fundraiser reached record numbers!
We realized that this Valentine's Day event was going to be an annual endeavor!
So, on February 11th, 2012, we invite you to come out and meet some of our adoptables at the Brandon Shopper's Mall!
We're starting to put together our "line up" of dogs who will be in attendance!
Check back often as we will be adding to it frequently as we confirm participants...

The event was a huge success last year and we hope this year will bring lots of luck to many of our furry friends searching for that very special someone!
Note: Dogs will not be available for adoption on site. This event is a short meet and greet, and interested parties will have the opportunity to connect with foster families and meet the dogs one-on-one prior to applying to adopt them!

 Shahna's Legacy Gala - September 25, 2011
CELEBRATING 10 YEARS AND MANY MORE TO COME!
Funds for Furry Friends reached a real milestone this September! In memory of our founder, Shahna Rice, and to celebrate the growth of the rescue, the rescue held a celebration dinner with great entertainment from Brandon's own The Beetles!

 Cruisin' The Dub - September 1, 2011
A GREAT MIX OF PAWS AND WHEELS!
Funds for Furry Friends volunteers and adoptables were pleased to be welcomed by the BACE to walk during Brandon's Cruise nights! We were please to gain some great exposure for the rescue and all of the volunteers that came out had fun - and got some exercise too!

 The Fourth Annual Caged for Critters Event - May 28th, 2011
GOOD WEATHER, GREAT TURN-OUT, & SOME VERY OUTSTANDING PEOPLE!
This year's event was very successful - we have raised more money than we raised any any event prior! Despite weather forecasts, we had good weather and a great turn out! We would like to thank everyone who showed their support and helped put together an outstanding event!

 2011 First Annual Meet Your Match Event
OVER 35 ADOPTABLE DOGS AND PUPPIES COME OUT TO MEET AND GREET ADOPTERS!
This was our very first meet and greet event, and we are proud to announce that all of the dogs and pups in attendance were wonderfully behaved, and everyone who came out had a fantastic time! Each of our adoptables were introduced when they walked the catwalk, and then potential adopters had a chance to meet and greet - and learn a little more about them!

 2010 - Fifth Annual Pet Photos with Santa
TONS OF FUN - WITH CATS, DOGS, RABBITS, FERRETS, PARROTS, HORSES & A GOLDFISH TOO!
We would like to extend our thanks to everyone who helped make this event such a huge success! Happy Paws doggie daycare provided more than just a great location, helping in so many ways with the event! With the help of many volunteers, a great photographer and Santa himself - this year's event was a great success!

 2010 Travellers Day Parade - June 12th, 2010
FUNDS FOR FURRY FRIENDS TAKES FIRST PLACE WITH NEARLY 50 DOGS IN ATTENDENCE!
A great big thanks goes out to a great group of volunteers, foster homes and adopters, all who came out to support the rescue by walking in the parade. A great big group of dogs like this goes a long way to create awareness about the rescue!

 Third Annual Caged for Critters - May 29th, 2010
FRIENDS AND SUPPORTERS OF THE RESCUE SPEND TIME "CAGED" TO HELP OUR FURRY FRIENDS!
Despite some unfavorable weather friends and supporters of the rescue proved that mother nature is not going to stop us! Through thunder, lighting and rain - animal lovers gathered to show their support and the event was a huge success!

To date this has been the rescue's most successful fundraising event! With so many lending support to the rescue - from our volunteers to the local businesses that extended a helping hand - this year's Caged for Critters event helped out the rescue in a very big way!

 Earth Day - April 19th, 2009
We'd like to thank the organizers of Earth Day 2009 for inviting Funds for Furry Friends to participate in the event. We'd also like to extend our thanks to all of the foster homes and volunteers that were able to bring dogs and come out to the event. Many of our rescue dogs gained valuable exposure to potential homes as a result of this event!

We'd like to thank the Petursson family for their hospitality and assistance with the event, which took place at the NEW Purple Poodle location! The event this year was our best yet - with over 170 people coming out for photos - this was one of our best fundraisers this year!

Cookhouse "Garland of Hope" Fundraiser Event - January
6, 2008
SUPPORT OUR RESCUE BY EATING AT THIS LOCAL
STEAKHOUSE!
Montana's Cookhouse "Garland
of Hope" Fundraiser Event raised $3000 for Funds for
Furry Friends. The funds raised will greatly assist the rescue
with the costs of spaying, neutering and boarding dogs in
the new year!
