It's hard to get the full impact of this fellow without meeting him in person - Dreyfuss is a very neat dog. He is extremely tall with unusually long legs. We have to question what he is mixed with, and have had all kinds of suggestions - including Great Dane! Whatever the mix, Dreyfuss is a truly unique and very tall fellow! Dreyfuss came very close to missing his first birthday, but with the help of one determined little girl - he was rescued, and made his way to Funds for Furry Friends. Dreyfuss is a fun fellow, and being an adolesent dog who is often affectionately referred to as "the big pony" in rescue. He is a very sweet dog, who wins everyone over with ease. Dreyfuss is playful and he is going to need to exercise those extra long legs. He does show that "puppy" excitement about new things, but he also seems to know how to settle when it's called for. He does love to run and play - and he quite enjoys his time in the snow, sliding around and flick it in the air with his nose! Dreyfuss likes other dogs, and he has done wonderfully playing with dogs of all sizes at the dog park. He adores little dogs and we just aren't convinced this big fella is aware of his own size. Despite being a big boy, he has shown great respect around children and is very gentle with them. He would be probably be best in a home without cats, as he does get rather excited around them. His foster mom says he travels great, and lays down in the front seat of the truck politely when they travel. He actually loves his cuddle time and as you can see in his pics - despite his big size, he folds up nicely on the couch and is a great snuggler! Dreyfuss is still quite puppish, and he gallops when he runs with those very long legs of his - but he is a very sweet young boy and he is quite the heart stealer! This big fella is housebroken, crate trained and well mannered in the house. He'd be an excellent companion for someone that doesn't mind sharing their space with this big sweetheart!
