 Derby is a wonderful big boy who has just arrived in rescue after a stay at our local city pound. Derby is a very social and happy fellow. He has a nice temperment and is a very friendly boy. Derby is a very well adjusted fellow who seems to have an easy time adapting to new situations. Derby is an all around easy-going guy, who is content with life in general. He is calm and well mannered - happy to share his toys and treats. Derby is well behaved - he is housebroken, great on leash and excellent in the car too! Derby likes other dogs and is friendly and social in his approach with other animals. He is happy to hang out with other dogs, but Derby is just as content to hang out on his own. He likes toys - especially the squeaky ones, and has found a favorite in a rubber chicken at his foster home! Derby is not really a formal obedience sort of guy - but he knows some of the basics, like sit! This fella listens well, and usually does not need to be told "no" more than once! Derby wants to chase cats when he sees them run, but when push comes to shove - when a cat is put right under his nose, he only seems to want to sniff. Derby is a great dog, and he would be an easy addition into almost any home. This young boy is a pretty easy-going guy - with a personality that seems to "fit" in almost every situation!
