Davis is a sweet, young black lab mix that has recently arrived in rescue. He was found in the Oak Lake area, and was never reclaimed by his owners. He was rescued with the help of the Virden Animal Hospital when his owners were not located. Davis is a very friendly and outgoing fellow. Davis is currently fostered in a home with other dogs and cats and he has done quite well getting along with the other animals in his foster home. Davis is very playful and he has a little extra bounce in his step. He is not a hyper dog - he would be much better described as a goofball! Davis is a fun loving fellow who is very happy and sociable. He adores people and is wonderful with children! Davis really adores kids and would make an excellent family dog. Davis is quite a fun fellow, but he is young and still does have some learning to do. He sticks close when off leash - and although sometimes he does need to be called a couple times before he comes, his recall is pretty good. Davis is really learning some great manners in his foster home. He is completely housebroken, and understand sit and down. Davis really is a very typical lab personality - he is a very affectionate and friendly dog, and he would really love to be part of a family with humans of all ages! Davis would be suitable as a house dog and as a former farm dog, he could handle an outside home as well. Davis has really come to enjoy sleeping inside and he would really like a home where he can be a part of the family. (Indoor Home or Outdoor Home Considered!)
