Dandelion (Jack Russell Terrier)
Description Last Updated: December 8th, 2009
Those who ask what difference does it make saving just one have not witnessed the joy of the one who is saved!

Jack Russell Terrier - Male - 5 year old (Born in 2005)
Height: 9-10" | Weight: 20lbs (approx.)

Dandelion is a broken-coated jack russell terrier who was recently returned to rescue. He was originally picked up after waiting for someone to reclaim him from the pound. This little fellow seems to be a well behaved boy, and he still has lots of spunk! Dandelion is a happy little fellow, who seems to be pretty content and well mannered. He doesn't show much interest in cats, and he seems to be friendly with most other dogs. This fellow seems to be very playful and happy. He does seem to have a quirky side to him. Dandelion is an expressive little fellow, who is very easy to read. He seems to have a greate off and on switch, and Dandelion enjoys snuggling as much as he enjoys play time. (He does have a thing about balloons - they get him VERY excited!) Dandelion seems to have good manners and he is completely housebroken. He walks well on leash and enjoys car rides too! Dandelion would be best suited to a home with older kids, as he can be a little quirky. Homes with children under 12 years of age will not be considered for Dandelion. This little guy is a spirited fellow who can be tenacious at times. Dandelion will do well with someone that is familiar with terriers, as he has very typical terrier quirks. He would be best suited to a home with someone who is dog experienced. We wonder if Dandelion was kicked by someone in the past - possibly because of his terrier attitude. He seems to be very nervous about swinging feet (ie. swinging under the table) and he gets snappy if someone tries to step over him or makes a motion that he finds threatening with their feet. As sweet as Dandelion can be - this is one thing that does require awareness and attention. This fellow is absolutely adorable, and he's a very bright little guy too! Dandelion needs a home with someone that is comfortable with his terrier ways. (Indoor Home Only!)
