Crick and his brother,Watson, were surrendered to the local City Pound - they were given up because their owners had no time for them. They boys are in separate foster homes and are excellent little dogs. Crick is a wonderful little boy. Crick bonds quickly and closely with people. He seems more drawn to women initially, but he does connect with men with just a little more patience. Crick's foster parents say he reminds them of a cat - he is quite the lap dog, but he also likes to run and chase toys. He loves to cuddle and his foster mom says you just can't cuddle him enough! Crick loves to play fetch and likes chasing games. He is completely housebroken and well mannered indoors. He is crate trained and is quiet in the crate. Crick does pull a little on leash, but evens out his pace if you jog with him. He loves to walk - and he loves car rides even more! Crick has his moments where he does get excited - like supper time or when his foster parents get home. He calms down if you wait for it. Crick is a quiet dog, but he does let you know when someone arrives. Crick is great with both cats and dogs, and is friendly with other dogs of all sizes. He loves to play, tug and wrestle with the other dogs, and he is excellent at the dog park - saying hi to all the people and dogs he meets. Crick's foster mom describes him as easy-going, low maintenance and a dog with a very "cat-like" personality. Crick can be a little head-shy and is cautious of going through new doorways - but this is improving everyday. His biggest reward is love and affection, and Crick learns quickly with praise and attention. This little fella is a wonderful dog. (Indoor Home Only!)
