The "Crayola" Puppies - Hound/Pitbull Blends

Those who ask what difference does it make saving just one have not witnessed the joy of the one who is saved!

These little ones aren't ready to go yet, but we wanted to formally introduce the new crew. Haddie was rescued from the city pound in November, and we learned shortly after she was expecting. She gave birth to a litter of ten beautiful babies Christmas morning. Haddie has been a wonderful mother - welcoming the children, cats and male dog in her foster home to visit with the babies. She has such a wonderful personality - and if the babies take after their momma, anyone adopting them is in for a real treat! Haddie has already found a home and will be leaving rescue when her babies are done nursing and she has been spayed. In the meantime, Haddie and her foster mom are working hard to look after this large litter of pups!

The puppies were named after Crayola crayon colors and there is just as much variety in this group. We have colors ranging from brown and grey sable, to solid red, black or blonde! These little ones also vary in size, but are expected to be medium-sized dogs. Granite is the biggest boy, and little Forrest is the smallest. Turquoise (aka Turk) was the first born, and he and Carmine have a bit thicker coat than their siblings. Their personalities are all so different, and they are finally starting to emerge. We will update their pictures and personalities as they grow - so check back again! The puppies will be available for adoption February 19th, 2012. (Indoor Homes Only!)
