Those who ask what difference does it make saving just one have not witnessed the joy of the one who is saved!

Border Collie X - Spayed Female - 4 years old (Born in 2005)
Height: 15-16" | Weight: 30lbs (Approx.)

Boots is back in rescue after three years in an adoptive home. Boots is still as sweet as ever and she seems to still be as loving and affectionate as she always was with people. Boots is not a very big dog - she is only about 30lbs and Boots is a border collie that is likely mixed with a smaller terrier breed. Since Boots went into our foster program, her foster mom has found she bonds extremely well. She absolutely loves going for walks - and while she gets a little excited when her walks get started, she quickly finds her rhythm and gets into a groove. Boots has not had a lot of formal training, but her foster mom finds she is very eager to please and she does catch onto new things quickly. Boots does know how to sit, and she has excellent housemanners. Boots loves being with people and she is very clean and polite in the house. She is completely housebroken and does not need to be crated. Boots is great in the yard and she loves to watch squirrels and birds go by! She loves to run in the yard and really enjoys playing with a ball. Boots really enjoys car rides and is excellent when travelling. Boots is a very easy girl to have around, but she does need to be an only pet. She is not fond of cats, and has issues with other dogs. She really would be happiest to have her humans all to herself and does not want to share with another canine. Boots is not friendly with other dogs, but at her small size - it's pretty easy to steer her the other way! Boots would be ideal for a single person or an older couple that are looking for a smaller dog to love and dote on. (Indoor Home Only.)
