Those who ask what difference does it make saving just one have not witnessed the joy of the one who is saved!

Cattle Dog Blend - Neutered Male - 1 year old (Born April 2011)
Height: 16-17" | Weight: 30lbs (approx.)

Bendigo is a very attractive little cattle dog blend puppy that has recently come into our care. Bendigo, and his brother were found abandoned in a ditch on the side of the road in a rural town not far from here. Bendigo is a tough little dog who is very bright and busy. He is great with other dogs once he has had a chance to get to know them, and he loves to wrestle. Bendigo plays hard and is quite a brave little guy. He has a mind of his own and is at that teenaged puppy age where he is testing his limits. Bendigo does correct easily and learns quickly. He loves to play and he is a big fan of toys. He will play with almost anything he can find, and he has a habit of shredding papers if he can get hold of them. He does have an off switch and knows how to settle. He has done well in the crate so far, and is beginning learning the basics in his foster home - sit, etc. Bendigo has already mastered the leash and enjoys going for walks and exploring. He is quite interested in shoes and should not be trusted unattended with them! Bendigo is a smart young boy with a lot of potential to learn. He does have a strong personality and is best suited to an home with dog experience. This young boy is fostered with a couple cats and he is fairly good with them, but will chase them if they run. Bendigo can be a vocal dog and does have quite a high pitched bark. This should loose some of it's shrillness once he has matured. Bendigo is a smart boy with lots of learning potential. (Indoor Home Only.)
