Beck is new to rescue and we are still learning about him. He is a beautiful boy that loves to play! Beck has a very sweet temperment and he seems to like everyone he meets. Beck also has two different colored eyes - one brown and one that is so light blue it's almost white! Beck could pass for a Bernese Mountian Dog, but given his eye coloring we suspect he is a tri-colored Australian Shepherd mix. He's a larger size for an Australian Shepherd, but smaller than a Bernese Mountain Dog. Beck is very well housebroken and he seems to have an off switch. Beck loves to play! He loves toys of any kind and will fetch a ball for hours if you'll throw it! And if you won't, Beck is able to make his own play - tossing and catching his own toys! This fellow is a lot of fun! He does, however, need some training. Beck pulls quite a bit on leash and does not seem to understand basic commands. Beck still jumps up a little and he does need some leash work! He does like to run and would be best suited to a home with fence, as he is likely to wander. He is a young fellow and he is scheduled to be neutered shortly. This may make a difference. Beck seems to be friendly with other dogs and he would be well suited to a playful canine friend. Beck is overly interested in cats and he wants very much to chase them!
