Antonio made his way into rescue with his buddy Lewis when his previous owners developed severe allergies and were forced to rehome them. Antonio is a heart stealer and everyone who meets him adores him and his gentle personality. Antonio is a quiet boy who would love to spend hours cuddled up with his people or playing with a canine buddy. He's not just a couch potato! Antonio loves to go for walks and playing at the dog park too! Antonio has always had a canine companion and does best with another dog around. Since he was raised in a daycare environment, he loves kids and will actually seek them out to cuddle. He has been very tolerant of the young toddler in his foster home and actually enjoys being cuddled and slobbered on! Antonio is very respectful of the cats in his foster home. He is typically great with other dogs although in new situations, he tends to be slightly apprehensive and sticks a bit closer to his people. His housebreaking skills are mastered and he has great manners in the home. Antonio does get very excited in new situations and will submissive pee when he is very excited. He doesn't take long to settle and is absolutely fine once the initial excitement of new people has passed. This little guy loves company! Antonio would do best in a home with another dog to play with as he is quite dependant on having a buddy around. (Indoor Home Only!)
