Akelia is a very, very sweet little pup who was left behind in an apartment building for the landlord to find when her owners moved out of their rental unit. Akelia was very nervous and frightened when she first arrived, but she has really come out of her shell in a short time. This young girl is a very nice little dog - it's very unfortunate someone was so careless with her. Akelia is a little shy and cautious when she meets new people - but as soon as she realizes they want to be friends, her happy puppy side comes out. Akeila is a puppy, and she exhibits many typical puppy behaviors. Akelia does jump up quite a bit and this is something she does need some work on. She also loves to play tug with her own leash! All in all, Akeila has a wonderful personality and she is quite charming. Her shy approach quickly turns to a silly demeanor, and Akeila steals hearts quite quickly! This young girl has only just arrived in rescue - we hope to get her settled into a foster home very soon.
