Adoptions
Saving one dog's life won't
change the world, but the world has surely changed for that
one dog.
Funds
for Furry Friends is a foster home based rescue operated
completely by volunteers. All of our cats and dogs are in
loving foster homes and can not be viewed in a single location.
If you are interested in adopting, please check out our adoption process for dogs or cats.
Please take the time to read our adoption process which is outlined in detail on our website!
The animals in our rescue are vet checked upon arrival. Before any of our rescue animals go home, they are spayed or neutered, vaccinated up-to-date, dewormed and deflead. Puppies and kittens that are not old enough to be
spayed or neutered are adopted out with a spay or neuter
certificate which must be used when the dog reaches
six months of age.
If you
are interested in adopting, please take time to check out
our available
dogs and available
cats.
Funds for Furry Friends is located in Southwestern Manitoba, and all of our dogs are located in our area. We do ask that interested adopters meet the dogs prior to applying to adopt!
We do not deliver dogs, so please do not ask.
We have an application
process for the dogs and cats in our rescue and it takes
3-5 days on average. We get quite a large number of requests
to rush applications to accommodate a pick-up the upcoming
weekend or a trip into town. Our application process takes
time and we put this time in because we care about each
and everyone of our animals. We ask that you please consider
this before applying to adopt, and do not anticipate the
pick-up will be the same week you submit your applications.
We thank you for your time and patience as we do put our
efforts into selecting loving forever homes for our pets! Details about our adoption process for dogs or cats can be found on our website.
We are dedicated
to finding the best "match" for each cat and dog
in our rescue.
Please be advised that first come does not always mean first
served.
