Traveller's Day Parade - June 11th, 2011
FUNDS FOR FURRY FRIENDS GETS THEIR PAWS IN MOTION AGAIN!!!

On Saturday, June 11th, 2011 Funds for Furry Friends volunteers, alumni and supporters put their paws in motion, and shows their support walking in Traveller's Day Parade! We would like to say a great big THANK YOU to all the volunteers who came with their canine companions to walk in the parade, and to those who volunteered to walk some of our furry friends. We are always both surprised and touched to see so many come out and show their support!

The rescue was also invited to speak at the Brandon Fair in the UCT Pavillion, and at 2:00pm. A special thanks goes out to Karen Oliver for, once again, inviting us to give a presentation on the rescue and to help create a little more awareness of our cause! This year, Toni Gramiak volunteered to speak at the event - and we would like to thank her for her heartfelt speech!
