Shahna's Legacy Gala - September 25th, 2011
CELEBRATING 10 YEARS AND MANY MORE TO COME!
On Sunday, June 25th, 2011 many of Funds for Furry Friends supporters gathered to support the rescue and remember where it all began. Shahna's Legacy Gala was held in the Grand Ballroom at the Victoria Inn, in memory of the rescue's founder Shahna Rice, and to celebrate ten years of growth - and more to come!
The event was coordinated and put together by Toni Gramiak, Jill Giesbrecht and Crystal Jaques-Munro, and featured great memories with speakers Cheryl Yeadon, D'Arcy Barker and Barb & John Rice. The event also featured Brandon's own The Beetles, who gave us all a great show and brought many feet to the dance floor! With nearly 200 people in attendance, we were truly proud to commemorate our ten year milestone with many wonderful people!
