Chuck a Puck for our Furry Friends - February 26th, 2010
THE BRANDON WHEAT KINGS & PHYSIO FIRST "CHUCK-A-PUCK" EVENT

Once again, Funds for Furry Friends had a very successful Chuck-a-Puck event on February 26, 2011. Because of PhysioFirst and Brandon Wheat Kings, we raised $566.35!

Fans attending the game were able to purchase numbered foam pucks and after the second period of play, those fans were able to chuck the pucks toward the center ice face-off circle. The puck closest to center ice was the recipient of a prize package, supplied by the rescue.

Our volunteers had so much fun too! We were joined by Sawyer, Sandy, Rachel, Suz, Megan, Amie, Ashley, Jack, and John. Funds for Furry Friends always feels welcome at Westman Communications Group Place during Chuck-a-Puck because of the donors in the stands and the Wheat King staff and volunteers who help us out on the concourse and on the ice.
